Whatever you care about is fair game for an essay topic. Be specific. Avoid using abstract expressions and phrases  if you use facts to anchor your piece or as a springboard for your opinions, you need to double-check them for accuracy. One factual error can prevent the reader from believing much else that you have to say, Write as evocatively as possible. Employ all the senses. Using sight comes naturally to most writers; push harder to convey ideas and images through sound, taste, touch, and hearing. writing essays in a great way to get your opinions off your chest, but avoid philosophical rants which make no connection to your reader’s experience. Again, keep it personal while relating to a wider world.

A suspect "confession" 1. A murder case in Colorado came to an end in Thailand.  John Mark Karr was accused of killing JonBenet Ramsey on Christmas night by strangling them to death in Colorado. He was detained after journalism professor reported the emails that he had sent him over the years about how John and Patsy Ramsey were unfairly implicated in their daughters death. Karr was released as not guilty but was later detained for child pornography. 2. The professors involvement with the story was was important to finding a possible killer because, in the end they only found out that he was a child pornographer, which was still good because he protected children from Karr. But he never tested the accuracy of the emails and they never connected him the the murder, only child pornography.  Using the 'holocaust' metaphor 1. Media Literacy

Infowars, The Blaze Conservative.    Facts- A statement that can be proven true with evidence. Opinion- A persons thoughts on a subject often informed with emotion. Is a belief of something.   Informed opinion- A persons thoughts backed up with facts.  You can find facts by looking at resources such as books or online.  People that were affected by the story of were apart of it often have an informed opinion on the event or story.  Opinions can creep into writings when the the writer writes about how they feel about the story.  Words like, I, in my opinion, i feel, are specific words that insert the writers opinion.  Amendment 1.
