favorite cover

Favorite: created this  Vogue  cover with bold lines and angles that traverse the model’s face and hand. Although she executed it digitally, the red and turquoise strips look like face paint with colors that match the masthead. I really like this picture because of the amount of cohesiveness in the photo. I like that the blue on her face matches the blue in the text. I also really think that the red on her face spreads to her arm. it looks like the red face paint is breaking the rules of the picture which is cool. I don't like however that the models lips are extremely chapped and if they looked glossy and smooth then the picture would probably look a lot better than it already is. i also think the model needs to clean her nails because they looked stained red most likely from putting on the face mask.

Shutter speed, ISO, aperture

Image
Aperture F 2.8 F 16 We should relate our eyes to aperture. Our pupils dilate to take in light just like aperture.   The smaller the aperture the larger the depth of field, the larger the aperture the smaller the depth of field.  Aperture affects depth of field because if the aperture is higher the depth of field is lower this makes the viewer feel as if they can walk into the image. If the photo has a lower aperture then the depth of field is higher so it looks more like a portrait.  Shutter speed slow shutter speed Fast shutter speed  beginning of the day a: slow b:slow c: fast d: fast e: slow f: fast end of the night a: slow b: slow c: fast d: fast e: fast (ish) f: fast Auto- the camera sets the shutter speed automatically, shutter priority-the camera sets aperture and you set the shutter, manual-you set everything manually.  ISO ISO 3200 ISO 200 It allows for higher shutter speed so you can get good motion images min

Photo manipulation and ethics

Image
The main points I read about that regarded manipulating images are replacing peoples heads with others, editing people and objects out of images, distorting images, stretching images, and changing the hue and saturation of an image to give it different feelings. One main thing that i noticed within the main points was that there are all centered around the idea that the edits will make it more aesthetically pleasing to the the audience receiving that image. For example, distorting peoples bodies and also replacing the bodies head with another persons shows that the person editing the image thought about how another person may receive it. If the editor wanted an image of Ann-Margaret but thought her body wasn't aesthetically pleasing in the photo then they would have replaced the body with a more pleasing one. This is not ethical because shift and changing someones appearance does not show the authenticity of the real world, it also degrades the models body that was altered.  The

2019 recap

Image
I like this picture because of the colors and I really like fashion. I think that this picture stood out to me because so many people care about Notre Dame and because the Eiffel tower looks pretty in the back. I love this picture because of the blue shades and colors and because there are dogs. 1. Zanny by Billie Eilish Billie Eilish is one of the most influential person in my life (beside my mom and dad) that got me through so much last year. Every time i listen to her music it makes me forget and release from the world a little. This time last year i lived in Florida and went to a private christian academy. I hated living there and each day got worse and worse. Billie's music made me feel like I wasn't alone and i could get through all the obstacles in my life. Now ever since i moved here I've been so much better. Now i can listen to her music and feel good. 3. the most important story to me was hurricane dorian because it impacted the Caribbean where
