I believe that the fires in the amazon are a big issue because, the amazon battles the affects of climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide out of the air which is a big deal. Considering the depletion of out natural resources, burning our forests is not wise. 2. Leaders refusing to help in a time of need is completely unethical. We need everyone to help battle climate change in the most efficient way possible. 3. I am not surprised that the US hasn't done anything to help. Considering our governments current state, there is no surprise that the US will do anything to aid in the efforts of the amazon rain forest. 4.I can say that anyone should get involved in any way they can. Everyone lives on the earth there is no reason to not help
